Michael,
My G5RV may be the Radio Wave model that John mentioned. The G5RV is
always fed at the center so it is, as you say shaped like a T. My model is
fed not with ladder line but with twin lead which is connected directly to
the coax. If you tie the ladder line portion off, make sure it is not in
close proximity to metal such as a tower or pole. That probably goes
without saying but just to be sure. I've heard of people running G5RV's in
all sorts of configurations so you may have some options. Inverted Vees
seem to be an excellent all-around option and the increased low angle
component will probably help you to work DX if you put it up that way. Good
