We're here in the snow covered city of Columbus, Ohio. Actually, the roads
are clear the our driveway was only shovelled once. Since I've had the
cancer surgeruy, I'm more afraid of falling, so I don't chance going out
much any more when the snow is like this. David is doing much better with
the depression but suffering from a recurring siness infection that won't
give him any peace. Irene is doing well too. I still marvel at her great
ability and lucidity at age 88. She keeps up on what's happening where she
used to live. She gets the Athens paper and shares with us the things that
are going on there.

Since my father and sister both went to the nursing home, we inherited my
sister's dachshund. The one we have is her sister--from the same litter.
Duh. Anyway, they are really entertaining. We also inherited Sam's cat. I
know. We've got something real going on round here. Miss Flurrie is
starting to groan when she has to get up and down.

Spiritually, I am thirsty. I seem to be wanting to study more and I find
myself really enjoying the e-mails from this list. Even though I don't post
often, I love you all. Hey, and praise God I have been cancderfree since
last January. Psst! God is good!

Coming to you from the little pink netbook,

April Stahl
