Hi Listmates,
Our 19-year old daughter is going to Los Angeles by bus for a week as
part of a school trip, staying near the Civic Center. Does anyone
know of restaurants in that area where she could get meals that are
reliably gluten and dairy free? She also must avoid soy, eggs,
tomatoes, starches and sugars (she is on the Specific Carbohydrate
Diet). She has a very sensitive system that reacts strongly when she
eats anything that disagrees with her. She won't have access to a
car or to a kitchen.

Any ideas about how she could eat safely? How do you handle
traveling when you don't have access to a kitchen?

Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
