I am not convinced trans fats are the real problem. Those who eat trans fats usually get them is sources that have other crap. It is the other crap that may be the proiblem. Poly unsaturated fats in the form if seed oils seem much more damaging than trans fats. The FDA has too much power already. Educate people and if people don want trans fats than the markets will follow. The next step in government over reach is banning or limiting saturated fats.
