Does anyone have any decent, i.e. high resolution, images of brick nogging in wood-framed houses of the early 20th century?
Our 1843 Greek Revival is 3-wythe solid brick, but some we're encountering in western New York State are wood-framed and have nogging in-between the wood studs. We'd like to be able include a photo in our book, but haven't found any...yet, hence this request.
By the way, the book is coming along nicely. I've shown it to a few people who've been around me and my ipad these last few months, and enjoyed and benefited from comments. Anyone wanting to weigh in early on drafts of parts or the whole thing, let me know, and I'll find a way to park it for you to download.
Meanwhile, the current question is about nogging - found this site interesting: http://www.inspectapedia.com/interiors/bricklined.htm
Thanks, everyone.
