Hi, all.

For those who may be interested, my e-mail and internet access problems have 
been solved.

It turns out that my Windows XP machine here didn't like the WPA security 
settings for our home wireless router, but likes the WEP settings instead.

Switching to WEP security seems to have solved the problem.
