I really don't think it's the transformer unit.  I just tried pushing in on
the front panel where the meters are, and the noise went away.

May simply stick a small  piece of cardboard in the crack between the meter
panel and the main cover, to see if it lessens the problem.

Mine actually had a case rattle to it which made the hum louder after the
move, I just pulled up a little on the top cover, pushed on the front panel
a tiny bit and it went away. Probably all it is unless the transformer
itself loosened up but that's not likely the way that's bolted in.
