I found the EMG-guided needles hurt like hell (as an adult) and injection site bruising was kind of a drag. While my procedures were always directly monitored by the Department Chair for Physical Medicine at Ohio State University, he most often had the actual needle-work done by 1st year residents. That's one of the downsides of being treated at a large (ver-r-r-y large) teaching hospital.

Sarah,

The controversy stems from the perceived pain around botox injections for
kids. I've had botox as an adult, and didn't feel it was particularly
painful. Check out Google Groups thecpgroup, and look for posts in the
archives on botox, especially recently.
