There are so many theories out there about what's best and I've seen the
best grounding systems not be enough, and the least be fine so sometimes you
almost wonder what is really right. I can say we went almost overkill on my
repeater and that tower got hit last summer, my repeater was the only piece
of radio equipment in the whole system other than I think one backup radio
with an antenna on the building, to survive. So, that took out the town's
police, and fire radios and phone system.
