Well, John, that could be, especially when it came to 20 meters.

There simply were a bunch of NWS offices that I should have heard and should 
have been able to work, based on my experience from previous years, and they 
just weren't there!

Oh well, it was fun anyway, and I did get to renew some old acquaintances 
which was really fun.

I was on for a little while but have been sick and really wasn't up to being
on the air long, I think the bands just weren't there, that's what it seemed
