Hmmm, that might be a challenge, since dos doesn't really understand USB. 
It does however understand com ports, and maybe a cereal to usb converter 
might work.  You have to make this work manually by running command.com, 
your synthesizer's dos driver, and your dos screen reader.
Get that to work line by line, and then the process can be automated.
