Just to show that whatever Kenwood did to "protect" their document, they at least didn't put on the maximum amount of protection. I was able to extract text from it by opening it in Preview on the Mac, then saving it back out as a PDF. I then stuck it in my Dropbox, opened it with Adobe Reader on a Windows box, and saved as text. I'm not sure I like the way that came out, so also running it through the Serotek DocuScan Plus preview and saving it out; will be glad to Email it to anyone who wants it that way (as an HTML attachment, assuming I get a save dialog...). A bit convoluted, yes, but here it is anyway, until Gary puts together a more better one:
