I agree with all you say, but some radios just aren't accessible.  Much 
stuff these days has menus that just go round and round, no refference 
point, beep or anything.  I can't say how well this radio would work until 
I get my hands on it.  I'm wondering though if I lower its value by taking 
it out of the box.  I know it is still sort of a used radio, I was just 
wondering.
