HI Tom,

Thanks for the answer to my question.

I figured that this knoqw had to do with the rit and xit adjustments but I 
didn't make the mental connection.

I couldn't hear many people on the net yesterday but I wa so thrilled when I 
used the internal tuner in the rig and it sent back dit dah.

I'm suing a super shortened Hy Power 20 meter dipole that's 12 feet long.

I've also got the same configuration for 15 meters and a less than super 
shortened one (same manufacturer) for 20 meters that's 20 feet long.

I can put these out on my balcony with out them being seen.

I'm also looking forward to getting onto 30 meter CW.

Maybe we can work each other when you get your antennas up again.
