as far as features and functionality, sans the touch screen, this thing 
sounds really cool.
although, sounds like it's designed for the average joe public who knows 
nothing about scanning or frequencies or anything.
Wonder if that means user control is limited compared with say the 
BC-745xlt? or t15 or any of the tradditional uniden scanners.
I still like my old stand by, the bc 245XLT...probably one of the best hand 
held trunking scanners ever made...although it doesn't decode anything 
digital really.  Mine has seen pretty hard use and it still keeps on ticking 
after 10 years.
