I'll grab net control today but will need help the next couple of weeks.
Someone please step up and volunteer. It would be really nice if we had a
few stations who would share net control duties and rotate it around so
someone didn't get the privilege every week. <GRIN>

Take care and very 73.

Subject: Today's net

Hi, all.

I really hate to do this, but it turns out that I may not be available for
today's Cross-Country Blind Ops net.

I know I will be missing the next two Sundays because of necessary travel,
but the wife and I have some errands we must do this afternoon, and it is
turning out that I might not be back in time for the net.

My sincere appologies to everyone.

Now is one of those times where I wish I had a portable QRP rig like the
Yaesu FT817, that I could strap on my back, with a funny-looking antenna,
and check in that way! (smile)

The other thing I could do is go grab the RV, and use the TS480 in there,
but the RV is still in storage, and our errands will not take us near the RV

storage facility.

So anyway, I'm really sorry, guys! Please try not to say too much bad about

me while I'm gone.

I'll be back on the list later and will look out for any reports.
