Or maybe he was Republican, I can't remember now.
Oh, wait a minute, that's right, he wasn't either. Silly me.
Call me a rebel, a vote spoiler... some of us have to do it or we'll lose
definition of the word; but signing my John Hancock to a label of any sort
political or denominational, in my personal opinion, has a nasty tendency to
draw organizational patronage to the lenses skewing the view.
Besides, we all know Jesus was a white middle-class American about five
foot-eleven inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown wavy shoulder length hair
parted in the middle, sporting a defined yet thinnish pointed nose just
below his bright blue eyes, as he walked into the local Lutheran church,
right?
At least that's what I remember seeing in all the church story books, so it
has to be right.
By now he probably is wearing a robe with bleached out spots bought from
Wal-mart made in China and attends the Baptist church on the corner.
