I personally don't like Anderson power poles, but to each his own.  I have 
a couple things that I think were made by mfj.  They have two wires that 
hook up to your supply.  It is a rectangle about 2 inches wide and 7 or 8 
long with 4 sets of what I think we used to call 3 way binding posts.  I 
know power poles some how got to be a sort of standard, I just don't use 
or like them.  And to save list traffic, I have no interest in debating 
power poles good and bad points.  The MFJ thing is neat and works well.  I 
can't tell you exactly what they're called as I was given one by a friend, 
and I bought the other one at a swap fest.
