Ok well the power supply works great otherwise of course as have never had
anyone tell me had a hum or when checked myself with another receiver no
hum. So guess just something have to put up with; but, will try some
cardboard as might work better then the Braille paper did.
But, correct ththe other Astron supplies have had in the past have done the
same thing.

Yeah, if you want one that doesn't do that, probably look at a switching
power supply. Beware, though, some of the switchers can be pretty dirty in
terms of birdies.
