Hi Tom,
I didn't make the net yesterday and I won't be able to make it next week
either. I'm up visiting relatives in Michigan which probably isn't too far
from you. I'm in Madison Heights which I believe isn't far from Detroit.

Hopefully, you will be back on the air soon.

Subject: Cross-Country Blind Ops Net Yesterday?

    Hi, all.

Was there a blind ops HF net yesterday afternoon?

I listened on 14.258 at 2000 Z from a Michigan camp ground using my TS480
and screw-driver antenna on the motor home, and heard nothing, so I assume
there wasn't.

Just curious.

Hopefully, I'll get some sort of HF antenna up here at the Michigan QTH
within a week or two, so will be able to lend a hand again soon.

And, for the benefit of Kevin (K7RX), I have installed the all-important
ground rod!!!!!! Did it with the help of a friend, who assisted me in
further connecting the HF ground system to one of the grounds for the house
electrical system.

So, hopefully, no major RFI problems once I get up and running here.
