I own the ts2000 and the only workaround you need to do is setting pl tones and if you have the processor on or off  the rest of the settings have beeps at the top an dbottom of the range  same for pl and dcs codes but it doesn't read the specific codes or specific percentage of adjustment  but relaly you go by what others tell you as far as ic gain or processor settings anyway, and right out of th ebox all the settigns are just fine for most operators   and pl tones you set once and program into memories it's not hard to do and throught he kenwood software everythign is accessible except the dsp user adustments  that can eb acomplsied with the dsp mdifier software  E mail me of flist and I'll help you with that stuff if you like
