I know that on my little ft60 I can pick up some activity on 800 megs and 
I'm just using my 2 meter antenna. Here in Toronto mostly the police use 800 
megs. Accept I don't have anything programmed in the memories so I mostly 
turn the dial until I hear something which sometimes, takes a while.
