When the computer first boots, try to get to the Windows "boot menu"
by hitting "F8" a lot during the boot...
Pick the selection (using the up/down arrow keys) for VGA or
lacking that, Safe Mode.
After you get "into" Windows, change your monitor settings to something
very basic, like 800x600. (Right click on Desktop to get to those settings.)
(Follow the prompts if that setting is refused by Windows.)
Then Re-boot into "regular Windows" and make any necessary "improvements"
there...

WHAT OUT OF RANGE IS REFERING TO? I INSTALLED THIS MONITOR ON ANOTHER COMPUTER WITH THE SAME CONFIGURATION AND IT WORKS FINE. I PUT
IT ON ANOTHER COMPUTER THAT HAS VISTA ON IT AND GOT THE SAME OUT OF RANGE MESSAGE. THANKS RON
