Actually having slept on it, you could get one of those steel shoes
for framing a house, i think ive seen them off the shelf for 4x4s,
they probably make them for 6X6, and get a 3'x3' piece of plywood.
Then you could nail your 6x6 in the center of the piece of plywood and
bury the whole thing plywood down.  Then you could use the weight of
the sand on the plywood to anchor it, instead of using the weight of
the concrete.
