A fellow celiac here in the UK is looking to contact people with experience of treatment for RCD (Refractory Celiac Disease).
Her case is quite unusual in that she got the diagnosis of RCD2 soon after her CD diagnosis in 2001 but fortunately is pretty well having responding symptomatically to the diet. She is now under a leading UK gastroenterologist (who specializes in RCD), who confirmed RCD2 based on biopsy, and wants to treat her continued gut damage. She just been prescribed prednisone and thiopurine. She is 64.
