Interesting.  I've never tried to transmit on some of those frequencies but I've
got the mod done.  Didn't know I had all that band width.

I knew I could tune the antenna and one of those MFJ tuner boxes lets me tune
pretty much anywhere.

Now I just need to get the schematics to add the 1296 module to this thing.
Kenwood only wants themselves to do the mod so they hit you for both the module
and the installation.
