Hi, all.

I have a question here about the belt clip arrangement for the THF6A, and
wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

The belt clip itself has two holes on either side, in which you insert
screws to fasten it to the HT. Then, there is a little plastic piece that
you slip between the clip and radio, I guess as an additional means of
support for the belt clip.

Well, on one of my THF6A's, that plastic piece has become loose, in that it
no longer snugly fits between the radio and belt clip.

Personally, I am becoming more convinced that this is not a good design, but
I'm stuck with it for now.

If anyone has suggestions as to how I might fix the problem, please let me
know.

At one time, I had bought the extra carrying case for the THF6A, but that
didn't seem to hold up all that well either.

I really take pride in taking care of my equipment, but these belt clip
arrangements leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.

Looking for any thoughts.
