In checking the archives and from the people who wrote (many thanks), I
learned that Buenos Aires is complicated.  Apparently, there can be flour
in spices, so people recommend ordering things plain.  Some had very good
experiences; others were more concerned.  There are stores that sell
gluten-free food, especially a chain called dietetica.

A couple of restaurants recommended no longer exist.
