Hi Kevin,
I don't know if you have tried this or not, but when I first installed my
PnP16 I connected my powered speakers to the card. AFTER I had terrible
noise, I read the book and found that there is a jumper to disconnect the
cards amp for use with external powered speakers and other outputs.
