If I remember correctly, Don (age, you know), I think it began to post and then, when it was listing hardware, said there was no hard drive . It just didn't see the hard drive at all. Another drive worked fine and then I tried the failed one in an external case and it was still no go. --AnnaSummers

Did you get any POST (dos) screen at all with the old drive? Or any signs
