I ran the net on 14258 from 2000 to 2030Z, with some help from my brother,
W6PR/0 in Lohrville, Iowa, and Gary, N5GD in Mississippi. The frequency was
clear and conditions reasonable. I think that whoever runs the net, most of
their check-ins will be in their first skip zone, and most of them won't be
able to hear each other. For example, I don't expect to hear anyone from
Michigan except during sporadic-E seasons in mid-summer and mid-winter.

In addition to the usual suspects, two other check-ins said that they are
visually impaired. People who checked in this week were:
n9kiw
w6pr/0: Paul, Lohrville, IA
kd0kfe: Jerry, Campbell, Neb.
k4Vxr: Jeff, Cottontown, TN
k7uc: Ed, Plain City, UT
n4bj: Bob, Kingsport, TN
k1kq/m: Roger, on a houseboat on Lake of the Woods, MN
n5gd
w0ghm: Guy, Sioux City, IA
n0ohx: Carlos, Deerwood, MN

I will attempt to do this again on the 15th and the 29th. I won't be around
for the 22nd.
