well, with all this talk about the belt clip for the th f6a, i'm going to
have to go and check mine.
that said, I very rarely use the belt clip on the radio.
the only time I use it is when i'm taking the radio in or out of the house
to charge or put back in the vehicle.
If i'm going to be carrying the radio around, I have a camera style belt
pouch that I bought at the dollar store for, yep, you guessed it, a dollar.
this particular pouch seems to have been designed with the th f6a in mind
since it's a perfect fit for the radio and the closing flap on the top
allows the antenna to stick out without having to bend sideways.
it has a velcro belt loop that makes the pouch easy to put on and
remove...though, for those who do not wear belts, this is obviously not an
option as you need a belt to attach the pouch to.
it's not a designed case obviously as once the radio is inside, you can't
press the ptt or access anything beyond the volume control unless you have a
speaker mike.
but, it's padded, heavy duty and will protect the rig if it falls or gets
bumped while walking about.

beyond that, my belt clip seems to be just fine and seems very well made and
heavy duty enough.
now, if i could find one for my IC T90A for less than the cost of my left
arm and first born, I'll be happy.

regards
Colin
