Like most of theese discussions, The right answer is the right answer for 
you, your interests, priorities, resources, and options.  I think we all 
want to be right, but the best you can do, is make your right decission.  I 
for example don't have a way to put up rotatable horizontal beams for 2 and 
440.  I didn't therefore prioritize SSB and CW on those bands.  I live with 
in twenty feet of my neighbors, so I don't run high power.  Ah they all have 
guns probably.  Given land, a tower, and power, I might have chosen 
otherwise.
