Well, try what I was doing, and see.  One thing I noticed, was that the 
stream companion made the standard stream folders on the thumb drive, and 
the player found all the books, even though they were in sub folders.  I was 
told that all of the books needed to be at the root, that might be it.  I 
wonder how you check for, download, and install firmware updates?  I am sure 
their is a way.
