hmmmmm...a large sledge hammer and a trip to your local waste disposal 
center should fix the problem perfectly hi hi.

beyond that, I would put toroids on the AC chord, and any other cable coaxes 
or audio/vidio cables you have running into the TV.
Presumably you have a DVD player/vcr and digital cable box hooked up to the 
TV?
try unplugging each one of those separately from the tv, along with the 
suggestions others have given such as unplugging the cable line, and 
unplugging audio/vidio cables to try and isolate where the RF is getting in.
If the tv is turning off, or sort of won't turn on etc, my suspicion is that 
the RF is getting in through the ac line and is tripping a protection 
circuit....some tv's have a surge protecter or over voltage protection 
circuit built in to prevent the tv from frying with stray high surges coming 
through the ac system.
