actually, even if she registered the mp3 utility, that should have had no impact on the disappearence of the icon. it would appear to me, that there is something going on with the machine. oddly enough, I don't have vista any longer. I had it earlier this year, and to be honest, I didn't find very much use for it. but I will say, as I said earlier that shouldn't effected it.
