It isn't just the concreat at the bottom, it is twist and strain on the
tower. I use to do this stuff for a living, and we did do some 40
footers, but tied them at the roof line of the house. You can do what you
want, but anything over 30 feet, Rohn says guy. Again, not just how large
the base is, lots of other forces on the tower itself, flexing, twisting,
and so forth. I've never seen one just pulled out of the ground concreat
and all, but have seen a lot bent over and twisted into a pile of scrap.
