Steve:
I didn't hear you relay Junior's call, probably because of some qrm near our
frequency toward the end.
Regarding 20 meters, I'd say let's have a few of us try it maybe sometime
next week-end, but stick to 40 for now, since we all heard at least some
stations, and since relaying worked in most cases.
Regarding 40, though, I don't think we have to be married to 7220 at all, so
let's try to find an alternate frequency free of foreign broadcasts, and
make the change accordingly for next week.
All suggestions are welcome.

Junior,
I had to step out of the shack for the last 20 minutes or so and came back
just around the top of the hour. I heard you trying to call Tom to check
in. I tried to relay, but just then the BC station came up very loud and I
don't know if Tom heard me or not.
BTW, Fred and Gary: You guys were loud near Philly.
I'd be willing to try 20 some time. If we do it again on 40, I hope we
aren't married to that frequency. There are no BC stations below 7200,
Generals can go as low as 7.175, and that portion of the band just seems
quieter.
