The name Jimsonweed is a corruption of the name Jamestown apparently some of the early settlers there also tried it in their stew. I saw a quote from the account years ago and the only word I remember from it was "frolicking". The weed has some high powered chemicals similar to those used to stimulate patients in cardiac arrest also found in Bell Donna. The trouble is that the amount needed to make you high is not much less than the amount that will kill you.
