I wasn't at Dayton, but comments on the Kenwood list say the prototype 
was there.

Most of them also say that the people at the Kenwood booth either 
didn't know much about it, or weren't revealing very much about what 
they did, or should have known.

They also say that the rig wasn't connected to an antenna, so nobody 
knows if the receiver really measures up to the claims made in the 
brochure.

I've also not found out anything about whether or not the menus and 
frequency display talk, but I'll be really surprised and disappointed 
if they do not.
