Hi list:

Anyone or no of a blind ham who successfully operated a TT Jupiter?
I was wondering if it could be possible to use HRD as a freq/mode/S9 announcer while controlling the rig with the front panel controls.
I think the Pegasus mode totally controls with a connected PC, not vary practical for the blind community if you have to use the window eyes/jaws cursers to find and click buttons.
This could be the reason why the manufacturers are staying away from adding voice capability. If you can connect a netbook, running HRD and a screen reader, boom! I controlled a TS-570 using the front panel controls while using HRD for the freq/mode/S9 feed back and it worked fine.
Was going to build a remote HF station with it infact but other things came into play.

Saving for a TT Reagle 707 desk mic.
It has the same freq response as the Heil Key element found in the GM. 50HZ to 16KHZ.
I think it will sound nice on the 940.
