I haven't found the noise blanker or the digital to do much.  For what 
it is, a very nice radio.  As I said in an earlier pose, icom says 
adjusting r2701 on the main board will change the voice level.  I don't 
know if this is top or bottom of the radio.  The tech said the top, but 
the manual refers to the main board for installing filters, and this on 
the bottom of the radio, so who knows.  I'm still thrilled to finally 
win such a cool prize.
