Greetings all, as many of you may or may not know, there was severe and
catastrophic flooding in many parts of Middle and West Tennessee this
past weekend (and flooding is still continuing as I write this). I am
writing to ask if anyone on this list may know any in that area, if
they are OK, and if they are affected by the floods, if we can put
together some kind of assistance.
I have friends and family in Middle Tennessee and have been following
the coverage of the floods via local TV stations online. And while my
friends and family are all fine, Alhamdulillah, this may not be the
case for everyone.
I have spoken to family members who tell me that many roads and bridges
are washed out and many homes and businesses are flooded. Some places
received nearly 15 inches of rain! the last news report I saw was that
15 people had died as a result of the flooding.
At any rate, just writing to see if everyone was OK, and to see if
anyone needed any assistance. Please keep everyone in your thoughts
and prayrs.
Ginny
