I can't remember the name of the company, nor even where they are located.
Apparently they have not done many slate roofs and the architect doesn't
like something about the way it was installed. I don't know how many slate
roofs she has installed either but from her appearance I'd bet not many. I
think it is a lovely roof, after I got over the shock of all the slate
being more or less uniform. At first I didn't like it, then I realized I
was used to the old roofs with the random colors, probably due to repairs
over the last 200 plus or minus years. Ruth
