An aunt of my mom's had her hysterectomy done thru the vagina, that
is without the need for an external abdominal incision. this was many
years ago and befoer the advent of labroscopic surgery.
Regardless of the method of surgery, you will not be able to do any
heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for several weeks but unless
there are complications, you should be able to navigate your house
including managing stairs after a few days at least.
Of course, i just know this from hearsay, my mom hbeing a retired
registered nurse.
We pray for uneventful and smooth surgery with no complications and a
speedy recovery.
Love in Christ,
Doris
