I agree. I think the 2000's TX audio is in a different class, but I'll try
and make the 480 as good as I can.
You are right on the accessibility of the 480. I ran it over the weekend
with no speech, but using the Kenwood software and did fairly well,
considering it is totally new to me. Last night my brother put the voice
board in for me, and even though I knew the 480 reads much more than the
2000, it was still a pleasant surprise to hear it for my self. Not having
to count clicks for power or mic gain is great.
