In most cases, you're better off, at least price-wise, buying your
netbook elsewhere and installing yourself if you're comfortable doing
so.
As for new versus refurb, I don't know what they said in the exhibit
hall. The announcement I saw said you could get a MSI Wind with SA
installed on it for $399. It didn't specify new or refurb, but
considering the screen reader is $149 for the Atom edition, that
leaves $249 for the notebook. What, exactly, were you expecting for
that price?
