Hi
I have never seen this product in person but there used to be some thing called a power safe. It was an enclosure for a car battery and it came with a charger. It was supposed to be sealed so that no acid or fumes could escape. It also had one or more cigarette lighter sockets. If the weight of the battery isn't an issue this might be a nice unit.
God bless,
Mark

Subject: Need advice on portable power supply for TMV 71A
I have a TMV 71A. Sadly it has not been getting a lot of use. I would like
to get a portable power supply/battery for it. I am also trying to get a
better antenna setup. It is tough because I live in a condo in the city.
This is my first "big radio" and I have no experience with external
batteries for them. Does anyone have suggestions for a backup power supply
for their TMV 71A?
Thank you!
