Howard,

The display is an Alva, and it should show up in the list of braille 
displays in Window-Eyes.  I have one of these displays, and it works very 
well on my wife's desktop computer using the serial port.  I used to run it 
on my Windows 98 machine using the parallel port, but that didn't work on 
the newer XP machine, so we switched.  I think I have some documentation 
around here in electronic format, so let me know if you want it, and I'll 
try and find it.
