Multo ben, ma le parola "epistola" me pare multo ecclesiastic o archaic. Io non sape, como illo appare in le linguas-fontes moderne de interlingua in le senso como tu lo usa. Ma in interlingua, a causa que 'littera' pote significar ambes (IED), in le lingua "parlate", secundo consenso il ha un differentiation inter 

'lettera' = 'epistola' e 

'littera' = 'elemento scripte pro indicar consonantes e vocales, listate in alphabeto".
